Book Review : The Sex Lives of African Girls by Taiye Selasi

I read this book when my AnyBooks application was freezing after the latest update. I found it on the World Reader Application.
It was a refreshing read, about a young girl, Habibti, whose first encounter with sex is when she walks upon her mother and Sinclair, the proprietor of the hotel they were staying in, free of charge, in Lagos.

She had decided to go up to their room, after eating the mango Sinclair had brought her, as usual. Then in Accra, she had walked in on her uncle, who took her in, in a compromising situation with the help, Ruby, in the study. She had gone to collect the books her cousin, Comfort had brought for her from Boston. She had then stumbled upon the help, Iago, kissing Comfort in her bikini even though she was betrothed to Kwabena. Then on the night of the party, her aunt walked on her uncle touching her in the study I recommend this raw and honest short book. I was disappointed though when it came to an abrupt end. Still good.
