The last book in the
Big Girls’ trilogy by Cop’s Passion by Angela Verdenius, read it immediately
after Beautiful Bastard and simultaneously with Chinese Cinderella: A True
Story of an Unwanted Child to dilute the intensiveness of the two books.

Angela
never disappoints and I am happy I learnt a new word from her books hey,
Prurience. A soft lush book that pulls you into the lives of the characters and
leaves you bereft when you are done reading. This is a great end because the
characters of the first and second book slip in and out of the story. I feel
like I know these Australian people, know their fears, happy moments and love
lives and I am always rooting for them.
